Lyneham

Working on behalf of M7 Planning Ltd, OG Planning is responsible for planning and project management relating to this proposed residential site on the eastern edge of the Large Village of Lyneham in North Wiltshire. The site has the potential to provide c.100 dwellings. OG Planning prepared and submitted a pre-application advice request in March 2025, including a detailed planning statement. A formal response was received in August 2025 and work is commencing on detailed surveys, with a view to a potential planning application submission in 2026.

Rubix Land

Working on behalf of Rubix Land Ltd, OG Planning is responsible for planning and project management relating to the promotion of strategic residential sites in the South of England. Sites range in scale from medium-scale sites of around 50 units through to large strategic sites between 500 - 2500 units. OG Planning is responsible for the promotion of sites through emerging Local Plans and/or Neighbourhood Plans, submitting representations and liaising with Council Planning Policy teams and Neighbourhood Plan Groups as necessary, in order to seek formal allocation. OG Planning has also prepared and submitted pre-application advice requests as sites come forward for more immediate planning application submission, as well as preparing planning statements for recently submitted applications in Devon and Somerset.
The accompanying image indicates a strategic urban extension site on the edge of the village of Backwell in North Somerset, being promoted on behalf of Rubix. The site has the potential to provide in the region of 400 dwellings and is a draft allocation in the emerging North Somerset Local Plan. OG Planning is responsible for overall project management, including managing the project team and facilitating discussions with the local planning authority.

Hills Homes Developments

OG Planning acts as planning consultant to Hills Homes, a regional housebuilder based in Swindon that specialises in high-quality residential schemes generally ranging between 5 - 50 units. OG Planning is currently working on three projects with Hills and has been responsible for general project management and promotion of the sites. This has involved preparation of representations to the emerging Wiltshire Local Plan Review, along with submissons as part of emerging Neighbourhood Plans and Reviews, including direct discussions with Neighbourhood Plan Groups and/or Parish Councils as necessary. 

OG Planning has also submitted pre-application advice requests to Wiltshire Council in relation to schemes timetabled for potential planning application submissions.
The accompanying image indicates a 25-dwelling scheme in North Wiltshire, currently being promoted through the emerging Neighbourhood Plan Review.

Cam

Working on behalf of Stonewater Ltd, OG Planning is responsible for planning and project management relating to this proposed residential site on the northwestern edge of Cam/Dursley in Stroud District. The site has the potential to provide up to 150 dwellings. OG Planning is preparing a pre-application advice request for submission to Stroud DC, including a detailed planning statement. Detailed survey work is ongoing, with submission of a planning application expected by the end of 2025.
